AUGUSTA, Ga. - A scheduled KKK rally in Aiken County has some in our area on edge.

The possible rally prompted an ASU student to research the history of hate groups in the South. He shared his findings Wednesday afternoon with fellow students.

Curtis Fease believes the South does not adequately train law enforcement to deal with Hate crimes.

"It takes more time to investigate hate crimes but its something that they should really look into because its getting really dangerous in America if you are in certain areas and you are a certain race," Fease said.

Fease says his research was based on data collected from the Southern Poverty Law Center and Anti-Defamation League.
