Restaurant Report Card 1/28/09
This week's Restaurant Report Card includes four perfect scores.
It's an 80 for China Express II on Peach Orchard Road in Augusta.
Health inspectors took off points for employees washing hands with no soap, food inside the hand washing sink and old food stuck to clean dishes and utensils.
Shoney's at 1909 Whiskey Road in Aiken comes in with an 82.
Points were deducted for shelves that needed cleaning, equipment on the cook-line needed cleaning and floors needed repairing.
Inspectors gave Bojangles on Mike Padgett Highway in Augusta an 83 for the can opener blade being dirty, food kept at improper temperatures and there was no thermometer in the refrigerator.
We've got four perfect scores all out of Aiken County.
Huddle House on Bettis Academy Road in Graniteville, Chicken Coop on Augusta Road in Langley, McDonald's on Georgia Avenue in North Augusta and Sabi Japanese Restaurant on Martintown Road in North Augusta all scored 100's.
