NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Layoffs hit a North Augusta plant. TTX headquarters confirms to us that 67 people were let go Wednesday.

These were furloughed employees and the intention, according to the company, was to bring them back. It was unable to make that happen.

The company confirms the same thing happened at its Jacksonville, Fla. plant - where 51 people were let go.
