Payroll company goes green

AUGUSTA, Ga. - ADP in Augusta is proud to have one of the most environmentally sustainable buildings in the United States.

As one of the largest payroll companies in the world, ADP (Automatic Data Processing) says it's important for them to have a high environmental standard.

The building was finished nine months ago and the U.S. Green Building Chairman Rich Henderson says the "green" facility reduced energy costs by 50 percent.

"What it does is improve quality of life, not just for the people who are involved in the building of the facility, but also the people who are going to use the facility in the future." Henderson said.

They made the cuts by having systems that automatically bring in outside air, personal temperatures settings at each work station and reduced water usage.
