MARTINEZ, Ga.- Columbia County deputies are asking for the public's help identifying a man accused of sexually assaulting a grocery store worker.
It happened at the Kroger on Columbia Road in Martinez last week.
The employee claims she was approached by a man while working in one of the aisles.
She told investigators the man asked her several questions that made her uncomfortable. She says he then began rubbing up against her.
The employee ran to get other workers, but they were unable to track down the man.
The employee says the man has a thing for women's feet and will ask questions about their shoes. She also says two similar sexual assaults happened at the Wal-Mart on Deans Bridge Road in Augusta.
The employee is urging other women to come forward if they've been approached by the man.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the Columbia County Sheriff's Office at (706) 541-2800.
