Snow just misses area again
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Snow just missed the Aiken-Augusta area again. Most of metro Atlanta picked up 1 inch of snow, with parts of northern Georgia receiving up to 3 inches of snow. A trace of snow was reported as close to the area as Greene, Oglethorpe, and Monroe counties.
Temperatures remained a little too warm and the atmosphere ended up too dry for snow over the Aiken-Augusta region.
